Will Smith
Actor, musician. Born Willard Christopher Smith Jr., to mother Caroline, a school board employee, and father Willard C. Smith, the owner of a refrigeration company. His middle class upbringing saw him attend the strict—and Catholic—Overbrook High School, despite his family's observation of the Baptist faith.
Ozzy Osbourne
Musician. Born John Michael Osbourne on December 3, 1948, in Birmingham, England. Osbourne is best known as the lead singer of the tremendously popular hard-rock ensemble Black Sabbath. With Sabbath, Osbourne laid both the musical and aesthetic groundwork for the heavy-metal movement in modern rock and roll.
Jimi Hendrix
Guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Born Johnny Allen Hendrix (later changed to James Marshall) on November 27, 1942, in Seattle, Washington. Learning to play guitar as a teenager, Hendrix grew up to become a rock guitar legend. He had a difficult childhood, sometimes living in the care of relatives and even acquaintances at times.

Musical group. Early members included Mick Jagger (born July 26, 1943, in Dartford, England), Brian Jones (born February 28, 1942, in Cheltenham, England), Keith Richards (born December 18, 1943, in Dartford, England), Bill Wyman (born October 24, 1936, in London), Ian Stewart (born July 18, 1938, in Pittenweem, Fife, Scotland) and Charlie Watts (born June 2, 1941, in London, England). Rising to fame in the mid-1960s, the Rolling Stones emerged as the bad boys of rock, and they continue to enjoy great popularity to this day.

Eddie Murphy
Comedian. Eddie Murphy was born April 3, 1961, in Brooklyn, New York. He spent his early years in the projects of Bushwick with his father, Charles Murphy, a New York City police officer and amateur comedian, his mother, Lillian Murphy, a telephone operator, and his brother Charles. His parents divorced when he was three; five years later, his father died and his mother went into the hospital for an extended period.
Keith Richards
Musician, singer, songwriter. Born on December 18, 1943, in Dartford, England. Keith Richards is one of the driving forces behind the Rolling Stones, One early influence on the future rhythm guitarist was his grandfather, a musician and bandleader. Richards' mother, Doris, was also musical. Richards developed a passion for singing as a child, performing in choirs at school. Around the age of 10, he sang at the coronation of Elizabeth II in 1953 as part of a choir.
